Jörn Ranke may have an unpronounceable name (sounds like yearn rahnkuh...), but the pronounced ease with which he switches from trombone to viola and back again provokes oohs and aahs from practically every audience. Since 1989 when Yearn joined the Palast Orchester, fans no longer have to Jörn for his blowing and bowing talents on stage--they´re an essential part of every concert.
