My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing your performance last night here in Greenville, SC. We'd never heard of Max Raabe and the Palast Orch and bought tickets on a lark. What a wonderful evening it was and we are now big fans (already bought a couple albums on iTunes today). One question- can anyone tell me the name of the composition Max referred to as an "Oriental Foxtrot"? I would really like to hear that piece again and can't seem to find it.

I've just heard of you. I think your music is great, retro, superb. Have you ever done a cover of the song "One Night in Bangkok"?

We discovered Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester quite by accident. My wife is a member of the Cleveland Art Museum, and we received news of the upcoming concert in February. In the meantime the PBS Station in Akron, Ohio featured an evening with Max Raabe and, inadvertently, tipped us off to the concert date in Akron, Ohio at the EJ Thomas Hall. I immediately bought six tickets for my brother and his wife, my wife's sister and her husband, and we were off to the most wonderful evening possible. I'm a total fan, and I'm certain that I'll wear out the CD in the not too distant future. Please come back to Cleveland...I'll always be in the audience.
Most Sincerely,
Andy Hays

The Concert was absolutel the most amazing concert I've have had the pleasue to attend. Grand, elegant, creative, comedic, and music that elevates ones spirit to heavenly heights. I felt I was living in the 20's and 30's. All I needed was "tie and tails" and champagne. Truly a performance of the decade!
